MARCIA PASSOS-DUFFY enjoys interacting with potential customers at craft shows. “People come up to my booth, and they ask, ‘Do you have one with a purple stone?’ When I tell them what the jewelry is made of, their jaws drop.”
Passos-Duffy, of Keene, is having a second career while she’s still in her first. The journalist and editor is also the creator of Geo-Graphic Gems, a line of jewelry made of vintage National Geographic pages.
